O my people, your leaders mislead you; they send you down the wrong road.” (Isaiah 3:12) “But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves. Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money.” (2 Peter 2:1-3 KJV) And don’t be one of those people who seeks for leaders who can tell you what your itching ears like to hear, and don’t be the rejector of truth and don’t chase myths, be clear in your head, and don’t be a coward or afraid of the suffering that automatically comes with following the Lord: “For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord.” (2 Timothy 4:3-5 NLT) The fact is, the eternal reality of Christ has appeared from age to age with a new name. You should not let the physical body of Jesus blind you to the the actual eternal reality of Christ which predates the body of Jesus 2000 years ago. It is this eternal reality which again has manifested himself in this age in the person of Bahá’u’lláh (the Glory of God). Didn’t Christ say that upon his return he would have a new name? “…. And I will also write on them my new name.” -Christ (Revelation 3:12) Is not God, the God of renewal? “They are brand new, not things from the past. So you cannot say, ‘We knew that all the time!’” (Isaiah 48:7) Didn’t Christ make all things new 2000 years ago? “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV) Didn’t Christ also promise that upon his return he again would make all things new? “….. Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” (Revelation 21:5 KJV) So, to expect the same status quo from 2000 years ago would be the antithesis of what the Bible had actually predicated. Read the Bible carefully from Genesis all the way to the Book of Revelation--all 66 books depict an ever-changing, ever-renewing revelation of God. If this fundamental principle has not been grasped, one cannot claim to know even the most basic facts about the Bible, because in the last analysis of the spiritual quest in the Bible all facts are weighed in and find their true meaning and coherence in the balance of an ever-evolving revelation of God which would be reflected in the transformation of human psyche and the human society. Dr. Hushidar Motlagh, an outstanding Baha’i scholar had stated the following: “Recently, a series of interviews entitled, Prophecy Today, Christian Leaders Look at the Signs of the Time, was conducted with several distinguished Christians. Leaders of various denominations, both Catholic and Protestant, were asked to link the events of our time to biblical prophecy. Among the leaders interviewed was Dr. James Kennedy, one of the most distinguished Christian scholars and founder of the Westminster Academy. He is known to many Christians through his writings as well as his weekly television and radio broadcasts that reach millions in 3,300 communities in the United States and 21 other countries. Conclusion: Drinking is not forbidden by the Bible. Drunkenness is however forbidden and a very real danger both to the individual as well as to anyone nearby observing. Therefore drinking is strongly discouraged. Legalists forbidding and reckless endorsing are both in the wrong in different ways. Why? Because Legalism is wrong and shouldn't be tolerated. Recklessness is wrong and shouldn't be tolerated.

Big lie at 11:18. You just get finished basically explaining that women have no place in teaching or pastoring in the church, that they should learn (of Christ’s teachings) in silence. Then you spew nonsense after timestamp 11 minutes of how “in Christ women gained individual standing as well as their own understanding of their personal value through Him”. But they can’t be pastors?? Says who? Paul, speaking to Timothy? The Bible is the word of God? Not exactly. It’s a whole lot of stories of people imposing on to their contemporaries at the time their interpretation of how they saw Christ and his teachings. And then all those stories were gathered together and some were kept, some thrown out, some edited. And then for a thousand years all of those were translated, re-edited, translated and so own. One only need read a NIV next to the King James Version to see how different they are. Stop telling women how much you love and respect them while continuing to keep them silent and subjugated.

Yes, this is so true! Rebellion and disobedience is human nature.. I can attest to that based on personal experience.. Like a moth to flame we are drawn to forbidden things despite of being aware of the consequences.. That is why we sorely need a savior.. As we cannot help ourselves.. Placing Dagon along with the Ark Of The Covenant and its ensuing events has a touch of humor into it.. But it also displays God's grace and long suffering patience... He disciplined them yes; but He could've decimated the Philistines for such blasphemy and idolatry.. But the Lord knows they didn't know any better; unlike what the Israelites knew.. So He showed them His power by toppling over their idol twice! But sadly it was lost on them.. We people can really be that dumb and dense when it comes to spiritual things.. Naaman got it somehow though when he was cured from his leprosy albeit a wee bit delayed...
